Summary
The story of David vs. Goliath, while violent, serves as an inspiration to many. It is a story of "justice" being done. Along with the story in the Gospel of Mark about Jesus calming the storm as the disciples feared for their lives these stories show us that while giants may still be among us we are assured that in the storms of life, God is our companion.
