Lenten Thoughts

Lord, I want to follow you. I want to do what you did, love like you loved. Help me to see opportunities to love the people around me well, serve others, and be gracious unto them.

Taken from: Easter Day Devotional/ Bible study tools.

Thoughts from various Lenten reflections I have read thus far and want to share with others

1. Pray inwardly and outwardly for others, yourself, and family

2. Rest and use the time to reflect through prayers

3. Smile inwardly and outwardly daily for all

4. Listen to others as they talk

5. Walk slowly and observe God’s work and love around you as you walk

6. Forgive and mend broken relationships

7. What are you thankful for? Discuss with family, friends, prayer group, etc.

8. Listen to quiet or meditative music. In 1523, Martin Luther said that he wrote hymns so that the word of God might be among people in the form of music.

9. Take a walk either on a virtual site or at a museum of artwork. Reflect on colors, shapes, themes

1 Read and keep a journal of what you have read during this time that has made a lasting impression on you.
