A Lenten Prayer
Almighty God and Father, we ask your blessings on our parish family that as we journey together through this Lenten season we may grow in our relationship to you and to each other.
Help us to acknowledge our failings and recognize our need for your forgiveness.
We pray relief for the suffering.
Fill them with hope and your healing presence.
Grow our compassion for others as we endeavor to be instruments of your love and mercy in the world around us.
In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
