Gathering Together in Unity as God's Church

Together with St. Martin's Episcopal Church of Pompano Beach, we are pleased to announce that we will begin to gather together beginning September 19th at St. Mary Magdalene's for worship. The vestries of both churches have agreed to enter into a time of discernment as we worship and minister together in the local community to see how the Holy Spirit is guiding us forward to a possible combined partnership in the future.

While both churches remain separate entities, at this time, we will hold joint worship services and begin to enter into shared ministry together. Fr. Bernard Pecaro, rector of St. Martin's will join with our rector, Fr. Lee Davis in celebrating the Eucharist and preaching at our combined services. Over the next few months we will work to develop relationships between the congregations and form bonds of Christian service by walking in the Way of Love together serving the communities around us in Christ's name. It is our hope and prayer that the Holy Spirit will guide us into a more permanent partnership that would lead to amazing ministry opportunities in the Coral Springs, Margate, Pompano Beach, Parkland, Coconut Creek, North Lauderdale, and Tamarac areas.

We hope you will join us on September 19th as we celebrate together.
