Serving In Unity

Several months ago St. Mary Magdalene and St. Martin Episcopal Churches began exploring what it might mean for the congregations to begin to work together with a potential goal of merging the congregations in the future. The goal of such a merger would be to further the work of the Body of Christ in ways that we could not do alone. The vestries of both congregations saw the opportunity for mission that we could accomplish together and the impact we could make in our local communities.

In the Spirit of serving in unity, the vestry of St. Martin's has authorized a $7,500 gift for Our Father's House, a homeless ministry that St. Mary Magdalene is involved with. We believe that as we continue to discern our future together, our service together in Christ's name will only continue to grow.

Stay tuned for a date where we will invite the directors of Our Fathers House to our Worship to hear more about their ministry and to present them with this generous gift.
