For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. – Ephesians 2:10
How wonderful it is to hear of plans that have borne fruit! Recently, St. Mary Magdalene and St. Martin joined CarePortal, hoping to be made more aware of the specific needs of youth in our community. Just this past week, we had the privilege of providing a laptop to a young lady (M.H.) who is working diligently to complete her senior year of high school but must do so online because of health issues that prevent her from attending school in person. On March 15th Jean Sullivan, Howard Villiers, and Janice Villiers delivered the new computer to the girl’s mother and the social worker who had placed the request. During a brief conversation, their smiles radiated gratitude, and M.H.’s mom confidently and joyfully shared that her daughter would “feel as if it is Christmas!” Since M.H. plans to be a veterinarian, completing her studies is crucial. Hopefully, this computer will be a significant asset in that endeavor. We are starting to see for certain that CarePortal is an asset for us in our endeavor to walk in those good works our Lord has prepared for us!
