St. Mary Magdalene & St. Martin Announce 2024 Grants

Grace and peace to you! We are thrilled to announce the recipients of the 2024 St. Mary Magdalene & St. Martin Annual Grants, to be awarded at this year’s fundraising gala dinner, on December 6th. Since its inception in 2022, our grant program has grown into a vital expression of our mission to serve and uplift our neighbors in need. Now in its third year, this program continues to transform lives, thanks to the unwavering generosity of our donors.
Our grant program reflects our vision to partner with organizations addressing some of the most pressing challenges in our community. For 2024, we accepted grant proposals focusing on areas such as homelessness, senior care, grief recovery, domestic violence, and more. We are delighted to support the following exceptional organizations this year:
- Christmas in July - $5,000
Providing school supplies, clothing, and toiletries to children experiencing homelessness, offering hope and stability to the most vulnerable in our community. - Family Promise - $15,000
Empowering families transitioning from homelessness to independence through prevention, shelter, life skills training, and mental health support. - Heart2Heart - $5,000
Delivering critical social and emotional support to vulnerable seniors, restoring dignity and purpose through the dedication of trained volunteers. - Showering Love - $10,000
Bringing mobile showers and wrap-around services to unsheltered neighbors, inspiring meaningful actions towards self-sufficiency. - Tomorrow’s Rainbow - $10,000
Supporting children and families experiencing grief and trauma through therapeutic horsemanship, art, and play, offering a safe space for healing. - Women in Distress - $5,000
Providing safe shelter and comprehensive services for survivors of domestic violence, ensuring safety, healing, and new beginnings.
These grants, along with the ongoing work of our ministries and outreach programs, are only possible because of the faithful support of individuals and organizations like you.
