Honoring Roger Vance

Resolution of the Vestry of St. Mary Magdalene Episcopal Church

Coral Springs, Florida

Resolution of Recognition and Appreciation

 

WHEREAS, Roger Vance has been and remains a faithful member of the body of Christ, serving St. Mary Magdalene Episcopal Church in many capacities both formally and informally; and

WHEREAS, Roger, has gone above and beyond during the current COVID-19 Pandemic to plan and build the Labyrinth; and

WHEREAS, Roger has spent countless hours creating the labyrinth to be used as a spiritual tool not only from St. Mary Magdalene but for the community around us; and

WHEREAS, the Vestry wishes to extend our deepest gratitude for the work that Roger has done in the name of Christ for St. Mary Magdalene Episcopal Church; now therefore be it

RESOLVED, that the Vestry on behalf of the entire congregation of St. Mary Magdalene Episcopal Church expresses its sincere appreciation to Roger Vance, for his loyal service and continued dedication to St. Mary Magdalene’s Episcopal Church, and does thereby recognize and express our sincere gratitude to him for his leadership and gifts offered to enrich the quality worship at St. Mary Magdalene Episcopal Church and our common life in Christ, and further, that this Resolution of Recognition and Appreciation be duly recorded and shared with the congregation of St. Mary Magdalene Episcopal Church, on this 22nd day of the month of September, in the year 2021.
