ADVENTUS

Welcome to the season of Advent, a season of wondering and waiting; a season where much of the movement is a looking deep within for the call and our response. As Christians, we wait together anticipating Jesus' birth while simultaneously looking toward the future reign of Christ.

Adventus is a time to listen, reflect, pray and share...to remind ourselves that God has put Godself in human form and rediscover the hope that God has placed in us. What are we to do with that hope?

Listening to the voices of some of today's greatest theologians such as Walter Brueggemann, Kelly Brown Douglas, Stanley Hauerwas, Nadia Bolz-Weber, Richard Rohr, Brené Brown, and Jürgen Moltmann, we are invited to re-imagine anticipating Jesus’ birth while considering our part in the current and eternal reign of Christ.

Adventus will be offered twice, on Dec. 2nd and Dec 7th, via zoom at 7:00 pm. While the sessions are the same, you may come to both as you may discover God speaking to you in a different way.
